Challenging the Status Quo with Revolutionary Inclusivity

Universal Standard co-founders Polina Veksler and Alex Waldman had a dream to level the fashion field and create unprecedented access for all. Their vision of revolutionary inclusivity was the impetus for our brand, and through a commitment to work with like-minded partners to create impactful change, the industry has been pushed to embrace a new normal. As the world’s most inclusive fashion brand, we believe in representation, breaking down barriers, challenging ideas and changing minds. Challenging the status quo is who we are.

International Women's Day is a great opportunity to challenge the status quo and further the representation of women and girls in our classrooms, boardrooms, locker rooms and beyond. In the spirit of forging a gender-equal world, Universal Standard is proud to donate to Black Girls CODE, an organization that is creating a future of female leaders in tech and innovation.

The theme of 2021’s International Women’s Day is ‘Achieving an Equal Future in a COVID-19 World’. The work/school from home situation brought on by the pandemic has drastically compounded the digital divide, a phenomenon where limited access to technology and information can hinder opportunities. Partnering with organizations like Black Girls CODE helps to shrink that gap.

This International Women’s Day, Universal Standard is proud to donate 10% of all profits to Black Girls CODE. We consider it part of our continued commitment to access and representation for All of US.
